Getting Around

  • Public Transportation

Green Mountain Transit provides bus service to Woodstock and surrounding areas. This service is primarily regional, connecting Woodstock with other nearby towns and cities in the region. For local transport within Woodstock, there’s a seasonal Woodstock Shuttle that provides transportation to popular spots within the town and nearby attractions. This shuttle is especially useful in the winter, offering service to places like Killington Ski Area. Taxis and ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft are available in Woodstock, though they may be less frequent compared to larger cities. However, for optimal access and ease of travel, we recommend travelling with a vehicle.

  • Airports Nearby

For the most convenient and frequent service, Lebanon Municipal Airport (LEB) and Burlington International Airport (BTV) are your best bets. If you're willing to drive a bit farther, Manchester-Boston (MHT) and Albany International (ALB) are also great options, offering more flight choices. While smaller, Rutland Airport (RUT) offers seasonal flights, typically in the winter months, connecting with other larger airports. This might be a good option if you're visiting during ski season.
